About Me

My photo
Warrior of Light Online When he learns to handle his sword, he discovers that his equipment has to be complete – and that includes armor. He goes out to look for armor and hears what some vendors propose to him. "Wear the breast-plate of solitude," says one. "Wear the shield of cynicism," answers another. "The best armor is not to get involved in anything," suggests a third. The warrior, however, does not listen to them. He goes serenely to his sacred place and dons the indestructible cloak of faith. Faith softens all blows. Faith changes poison into crystal-clear water. His angel whispers to him: "Yield everything." The warrior kneels down and offers his victories to God.

the date is 15Mar - 21Mar

Managed to catch Julianne earlier this week at the Mosaic Festival.
Just in time for "grateful" - my favorite track from her album.
Wolfgang's here too - but I passed on the Saturday free show - had somewhere to go to.

"Uncle, I'm tired-ah, Ang Mo Kio Ave 8 please, opposite the MRT station."

Finally home and resting - but have to check my feedreader....

Cathedral of Good Sheperd.
This is the church I visit everyday before I go to work.

Welcome to my office space.
That's a picture of my family.
Should have seen my desk before the Christmas holidays -
it looked nowhere near this one - 'twas a mountain of papers.

The kitchen that receives me at night to eat dinner.

Ang Mo Kio MRT station.
I live just opposite.
Very convenient.

I love my warm light.

Finally it's Saturday (and pouring) - and we're visiting
Missionaries of Charity - Home for the Elderly.
It's Lingkod's anniversary - our way of celebrating
God's generousity.

Auntie Clementine.
There is something about the
way she's all old and wrinkled
that draws my eyes to her.

Auntie Awoon.
She can't hear and barely speaks but when it comes to food, she's...
the Chili queen.

After visiting the Missionaries, decided to see
more of the city.
This is where I tasted the best Bak Kut Teh (Pork porridge)
- only because it tasted like bulalo.

Tunnel crossing to Clarke Quay.
I wanted to take a picture of the man and his guitar
while I was crossing
but he shoo-ed me.

I love looking at these shophouses in Clarke Quay.
A friend told me that these are the authentic ones they just restored
and made into a gimmick place.

More of these shophouses near Bugis Junction.

It was an eventful Saturday afternoon for me,
and I decided to look up.
It was pretty.
Was almost 8 and the sky still looked purple.

My last Saturday appointment -
Topone KTV with colleagues.
Did not manage to take a picture
of the dessert place Tong Shui Cafe we went to
near Bugis Junction - food was very interesting (in a good way).
