This is Chimes - just opposite the Good Sheperd Cathedral.

This used to be a convent school,

today it's an eating place.

The chapel is still preserved,

but no services really happen in it anymore,

just wedding receptions.

Tuesday.

En route to the coffee place to do some more honouring
for Mae's bday, we passed this monument.
I'm not exactly sure why this is here,
will try to find out though.


Walking some more,
we passed by this boathouse.
Cool. Replica of a big boat.


Finally reached the coffee house destination.
And it's opposite Mr. Merlion.


Saturday.
Bowling with the brownies.

After bowling,

off to some Japanese

Waraku.

Fooling around while waiting in queue -

for an HOUR.

Had this peach drink.

They said it was spiked.

Didn't feel a thing.

Thought the mickey mouse stirrer was cute though,

so I brought it back.

Have been addicted to salmon these days.

Can't get enough of it.

Went to Zouk for some drinks.

And it's morning delights.

Sunday.

Had bonding time with Shek.

No stars.

But many kwento.

Forgot to post this last week.

We had a fire drill - so fire exit it is for us -
from the 35th floor *aray*

Ge visits.

On our way to gluttons bay on Friday while walking through esplanade,

this orchestra looked very interesting.

Naturally, I got curious so I went for a closer look.

The instrument's Chinese name is hard to pronounce.

So I will not attempt to even type it.

It looks like a harp on a table.

Served this weekend at a Youth Retreat at Salvation Army.

Felt very blessed to have these two brothers here.

I felt like I was doing the retreat myself.

My heart felt very young again.

As in 14-year old young again.

I woke up early on Sunday to catch the sunrise from our room

in the retreat house.

How beautiful the sun felt like on my face.

Palm Sunday at St. Theresa's

Outside St. Theresa's is a home for the dead.

First church: Sacred Heart

Second church: St. Bernadette.

An overwhelming turnout of 4 buses -

around 200 people joined in.

Third church: St. Theresa's (the big white church)

Fourth church: Lady of Lourdes.

This is my favorite of the churches.

Small, cozy, and pretty.

Fifth church: St. Joseph.

I wonder if Heaven would look the same,
