About Me

My photo
Warrior of Light Online When he learns to handle his sword, he discovers that his equipment has to be complete – and that includes armor. He goes out to look for armor and hears what some vendors propose to him. "Wear the breast-plate of solitude," says one. "Wear the shield of cynicism," answers another. "The best armor is not to get involved in anything," suggests a third. The warrior, however, does not listen to them. He goes serenely to his sacred place and dons the indestructible cloak of faith. Faith softens all blows. Faith changes poison into crystal-clear water. His angel whispers to him: "Yield everything." The warrior kneels down and offers his victories to God.

1 - 8 June (Family Retreat weekend with Servants of Lord community)

After a very long week of sleepless nights,
time to spend the weekend serving in a Family Retreat.
To kick it off - servants' meeting Friday night with the bros and sis.
Saturday.
Drive to the retreat venue in Johor Bahru,
my first time there.

Arrived at the Palm Resort,
Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
Really feels weird - driving a few hours and
you find yourself in another country.

Morning session with the youth.

oohhh....LUNCH!

This is a tricky game of
guessing who's sitting on the chair.
Can get pretty nasty I think. ;p
Okay - now this is a very candid picture of
the card game (that involves a lot of running around).

Me - trying to get my own catch.

And off to the jail warden.

Capped the night playing some Saboteur.

Sunday.
Church day - quite a long drive
to the nearest church.
Photo - op outside the Sacred Heart.

Goofing around before starting the morning session.

"putting God first"
Now - this was one of my gifts
during the retreat.
Thank you Lord!!
Lunch. *nuff said*

Last session of the retreat.
Venue: our room.

Can't get enough of fooling around in photos!

The michelin boys! *hilarious*

A family photo. *nice*

Us kids only.

Cute pics of the kids...

Some profile photos of me *hihi*

Last morning in the retreat.
Couldn't help but take a photo of the pink sky.
Very pretty.
*shiok*
I thought this photo was dramatic because of the sunlight.
One of the corridors before reaching our room.
Now - that is what I call a very fruitful weekend.
Thank God for opportunities like this to rest, serve, and pray *all at the same time*.
Thank you Lord!!
